Identify The areas of the project that will require creativity and innovation..  These areas are usually the parts of the design that will make the project difficult. For example, if I was trying to design a more humane mousetrap how to contain the mouse without hurting the mouse would be an area open for innovation and creativity. However, to attract the mouse I would probably using existing solution such as cheese or peanut butter.
